This is a motorway transfer, not a mountain day. We use the A7 Agadir–Marrakech expressway. The old Tizi n'Test N8 is slower, winding, and sometimes closed in winter — it is not the default for this booking.
City centre to city centre is roughly 250–260 km. The dedicated Agadir–Marrakech motorway section is about 233 km. Your quote is for the addresses you enter, not a generic Morocco fare.
Once on the A7, most runs take about two and a half to three hours. Add time at each end: Agadir beach hotels, AGA immigration, or Marrakech ring-road and medina-edge traffic.
Most guests either leave an Agadir beach, marina, or Founty hotel in the morning, or land at Al Massira and continue inland the same day. Both are the same product: one private car, one driver, this corridor.
Gueliz, Hivernage, and the Palmeraie take a vehicle to the door. The medina does not: we drop at the accessible gate named on the booking (Bab Doukkala, Jemaa el-Fna edge, or your riad's usual meeting point).
The A7 crosses the Souss plain and the High Atlas foothills on a modern dual carriageway. It is not an Ourika Valley tour, not Aït Ben Haddou, and not the Tizi n'Tichka road to Ouarzazate.

Agadir is a beach and airport city; Marrakech is medina, Gueliz, and riads. The useful link between them is the A7, not a shared coach that unloads at a station far from your hotel. A private transfer is for travellers who land at AGA, spend time on the coast, then want one car inland — families with luggage, couples heading to a riad, or anyone who would rather not change vehicles in Inezgane.
Northbound traffic is usually lighter than the Casablanca–Marrakech A7. The time you lose is at the ends: Al Massira arrivals after a European charter, or the last kilometres into Marrakech when the ring road and medina-edge streets are busy. We plan the pickup around your flight or hotel checkout, not around a scheduled bus slot.

Airport starts and hotel starts use different meeting points. Waiting rules follow the pickup type on the booking — landing time at AGA, lobby time at an Agadir hotel.
The same Morocco fleet categories run this corridor. Choose by headcount and bags — a couple with two suitcases is not the same booking as a family with golf clubs heading to a Palmeraie resort.
Economy, Business, and Premium sedans suit couples and solo travellers on the A7. Three adults with airport suitcases will be tight; move up a class rather than stacking bags on seats.
Standard Van and Mercedes V-Class are the usual choice for families, friends sharing the 256 km, or extra luggage after an Agadir holiday. Child seats are on request when you book.
Groups of 8–16, or larger parties quoted as a coach, use this corridor for events and tour movements. Medina drop-off is still at an accessible gate — coaches do not enter the alley network.
